Project Overview:​

  • Designed home-use automated ball therapy device for cerebral palsy (CP) children under  ~$6,700 budget

  • Built therapeutic robot with parallel appendages and tendon actuation mechanism to better emulate ball therapy and designed for a small footprint for easy transport

  • Integrated Kollmorgen AKM2G servo motor and drive to achieve three degrees of freedom of programmable movements

  • Collaborated with local public health department to develop target specifications for automated ball therapy device
