Project Overview:​

• Ranked 1st out of 7 teams in model accuracy

• Proposed unconventional approaches for hyperparameter tuning in ensemble methods, specifically LightGBM, and discussed the effect of model performance ceiling

• Evaluated the role of predictive modeling in company's business strategy and suggested joining forces with actuarial scientists in future field study
